In this world, nobody’s perfect. People make mistake and people forgive.
Like what I’ve read in the story of Sinigang where Liza’s father cheated to her mother. She’s always come up to remember what happened to her life in the past. When she met her father’s affair she can’t say that she can forgive them for making mistake. Even if she wants to forgive them she can’t because time will always heal the wounds it caused to you. Even though she can’t give her forgiveness, she accepted the things that already happened.
As a 21st Century Learner it gives me an impact. One of the moral values I get from the short story is about forgiveness and acceptance. We all know that nobody’s perfect in this world. We make mistakes and we forgive. Acceptance is the key to enlighten up your feelings towards the situation. No matter how hard it is for you, you’ll always need acceptance for you to heal and to start a new beginning. There are things in life that we don’t want to happen but we need to accept. Things happen unexpectedly and we can’t turn back time so instead of torturing yourself in the past you need to accept it and learn from it. Time will always heal your wounds. Forgiveness is given to the person who deserves second chance. Remember that trust has the power to make people believes in you but if you broke the trust that’s given to you, it is not that easy to forgive you easily. People forgive if they can, because forgiveness takes process to heal a person who’s in pain. Forgiveness and acceptance is the key to have a happy life and a new beginning.
